Our story
Foxy + Hops was born during a time of slow but hectic days, car naps and beautiful everyday moments shared with my little mate, Fred.
When I became a mum, my creativity was something I turned to. I drew while he napped as it was something I could do in silence. I ended up drawing through lots of car naps. In those small pockets of time, Foxy + Hops quietly came to life.
The name comes from my son’s favourite toys - Foxy and Hops - and represents everything I wanted the brand to feel like: nostalgic, playful, and full of warmth but also not too serious. When I realised the initials were F.H., the same as my son’s, the name was locked in.

Social Responibility
As a brand, we try our very best to navigate this industry ensuring that ethical work practices and safety, both in working conditions and in fabric selection, are always adhered to. We are learning big time and this learning will always continue. We currently work with three factories in China that manufacturer our clothes before sending them to me so that I can send them to you! For me, having our clothes made in China means having them made by the world leading experts in clothing manufacturing.
We always prioritise natural materials such as cotton and the factories that we work with are all BSCI compliant which means they have been independently assessed by third-party auditors and evaluated against the Amfori BSCI Code of Conduct.
The audit covers areas such as:
Fair remuneration (workers are paid fairly and on time)
Working hours (no excessive overtime)
Health and safety (safe workplace and emergency measures)
No child labour or forced labour
Freedom of association (right to join trade unions)
Environmental protection
Ethical business behaviour
We will always choose manufacturing partners that share in our commitment to ensuring ethical and socially responsibly practices in the workplace.
Our products
Lastly, all of our products are thoughtfully packed using bamboo envelopes, recycled Australian paper, and ocean-bound plastic materials — because good things should do good, too.
